It’s strange to see how much has happened since I started. Oh well life is a weird journey, from eleven on stranger things, growing up into a girl trying to juggle love and a career and myself. However, today I want to tell a more personal story, about my engagement to Jake Bongiovi and our wedding!
A Story of Love That Surprised Me Too
I met Jake Bongiovi (Jon Bon Jovi, the rock stars son) a couple of years ago, and look how our paths have turned out? For a while, we kept our relationship fairly quiet, but as things became more serious, it seemed only right to express our joy. Jake has been my rock, and I feel that I have so much in common with him.
April 2023 I got engaged to jake of course I said yes! It was one of those really beautiful, transcendent moments that still sends shivers down my spine to remember. Asking “How old is Millie Bobby Brown?” is a common question. But I¹m twenty and I can honestly say that I know what I want and it is Jake.
Plans for the Wedding: What’s Next for Us?
Anticipation and excitement have been steep since our engagement as we began making plans for our wedding. The effort put forth will reflect an organic representation of ourselves-a small gathering soaked in love. Although we are super-fluent on planning this out, a clear date and venue remain undecided. Yes, I already have a set of bridal-dress inspirations!
Naturally, we can’t overlook Jake’s musical background, especially since he is Jon Bon Jovi’s kid. In my heart, I’m hoping Jon will provide a unique performance at our wedding. Imagine having your father-in-law serenade you with hits like “Livin’ on a Prayer” on your special day! That would truly be the fulfillment of a dream.
Parenting, Work, and Growing Up
Both of us, Jake and I, are intensely focused on our individual paths, excluding the franticness that is the wedding preparations. Jake is carving a path in his life while I am hopeful for further progress in my acting career. Yet the way we coexist with one another and the future we hope to build together comes first in priority. For the two of us, Jon Bon Jovi and his wife Dorothea remain the best examples. Their ongoing marriage is an age-long validation that a public marriage could persist.
Forward-Looking
Getting engaged early was exciting and educational. Some people want to know how we handle this as a young couple, but you just know. Jake and I are looking forward to this next phase of our lives together as we share the same beliefs and aspirations. With this is the beginning of a journey that carries me with delight to see what next awaits for the two of us, becoming partners for a lifetime.
So, the countdown has begun! More wedding planning, career adventures, and, most importantly, a lifetime of love and happiness to look forward to. Life with you has begun, Jake.
